Hosted by the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation, the Games will be held at King's College, Auckland from Friday 6 October to Sunday 8 October 2017.
There will be a range of sports on offer including ambulant football, archery, athletics, badminton, blind cricket, boccia, equestrian, goalball, golf, powerchair football, rowing, swimming, table tennis and triathlon.
Sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 4 til 5pm, at the Sargood Centre, 40 Logan Park Drive. Athletes under the age of 21 are able to come along and join in, and be a part of the Youth Boccia Programme. Boccia is a game of skill and strategy and is a truly inclusive sport similar to lawn bowls.It is a non-contact target sport that is played indoors from a seated position and can be played as individuals, in pairs or teams of three.
